Will thin-film technology provide a shortcut to grid parity? During the international solar conference The Thin-film Future, the world’s leading and new thin-film companies will discuss this question. This one-day event organised by SolarPlaza will take place on 11 June in Munich (Germany), just before the start of the world’s largest PV exhibition, Intersolar.
More than 10 major market players will speak at this unique event. Among them are leading manufacturers like Applied Materials and Q-Cells, and ambitious new companies like NexPower and QS Solar. They will share their experiences and their roadmaps for reaching a production cost of less than $1 per Watt peak. Once this is achieved, in many major markets government incentives will no longer be necessary for exploring the unlimited market potential of solar energy.

Solar energy use can be as simple as hanging the laundry out to dry.
Thirty minutes of electric clothes drier use can be equal to one month of lighting in the home. Adding a few small changes in the everyday uses of Energy can add up to large returns for the effort.
Solar lighting outside, for security, and personal comfort is affordable and easy to install. Start with one Solar light, then another, the added savings for use of solar will appear endless.
